Run this morning and fishing at the local pond

This morning, as my clothes were washing, I had a 38 minute run up and then back down a small hill just on North side of Highway 50. I wore two socks on my left ankle, which surprisingly helped stabilize my left ankle on this run. I am slowly working up to an hour run at a time. Tomorrow after Aikido class, I plan on taking my running shorts and shoes and run some of the trails behind the college.

During the dry cycle, I drove to the local pond where Dad and I had great luck but the last time I was skunked. After watching a couple of trout follow my panther martin but not strikes, I tried fishing with Salmon eggs off the bottom of the pond, but I believe it is too mossy already. I then followed the lead of a family who were fishing with worms and floats, I caught a nice 7 inch trout with Salmon egg and a float of my own. I caught and released and then fished for a couple more minutes. As as I leaving, I took this photo of pond, facing North-east towards Tomichi Dome.

The second photo is towards the W and catches the family who was fishing with their children.
