Belated Salt Lake Post

One week ago, I drove to Salt Lake City for a quick trip to visit my friends. I met up with Floyd, Leonard, Michael, and Robert for dinner. Here are a couple of photos from dinner that night:

Leonard and Floyd.

Robert bleached out with my camera's flash.

On Saturday, Floyd and I went to coffee and then went to Sam Weller's book store where I purchased a signed copy of a trout recipe book and a used copy of Best Aikido by Moriteru Ueshiba, the current doshu. After Sam Weller, Floyd and I stopped by the SLC farmer's market. We then tried to find an open sushi restaurant for lunch, finally going to Koyoto for some great sushi, which is near Floyd's house. Floyd and I drank some wine and ordered pizza for dinner. Sunday morning I attend the Quaker meeting in Salt Lake and saw some friends I have in Salt Lake. I then drove to Grand Junction and stayed the night with my brothers Jesse and Jarrett. Judd also hung out as his girlfriend and son were in Denver. Monday morning I drove to Gunnison and have working all week, catching up on some tasks. Floyd and I discussed working on the user interface for the eCataloger project. I am using the eCataloger to build an eLibrary for the library. I have to leave for work, I just received an new work-station and there are some settings that need to be set.
