Back from wedding and misc.

I am writing this blog from home on my new DSL service. I do recommend using a local ISP because they provided great customer service in troubleshooting my new DSL modem from Quest. The dedicated line is provided by Quest but the service is through Internet Colorado.

Last Thursday night I drove to Grand Junction for my cousin, Mackenzy Rossman's Saturday's wedding. I stayed Thursday night with my brothers Jesse and Jarrett. I went clothes shopping on Friday, looking for a couple of sports jackets for the wedding and just that I needed some more formal apparel. Friday night I stayed with my Dad. I treated him dinner and the new Indiana Jones movie as an early Father's Day present. I enjoyed the movie more than I thought I would, Harrison Ford is an iconic figure of cool for people like me who grew up in the 70s and 80s.

On Saturday I spent the morning with Dad and then went and spent the afternoon with Jacob and his daughters, Aura and Emie. I picked up Jesse and then drove to the wedding started at 7:30. My sister Jill, her husband Lance, and daughter Alexis, were already at the outdoor event when I arrived along with my sister Angie and my Mom. This photo is of my Mom.

My niece Alexis started posing for her father so I took a couple as well. Here is one of those photos:

Here is my sister Jill (she is 7 months pregnant), my sister Angie, my mother, and my brother Jesse:

Finally, here is my best picture of the bride, groom, my uncle and aunt, and who I guess are the groom's parents:

Funny story to end this blog post. During the wedding ceremony, the clearly fundamental Christain minister was making too many weak analogies between God and marriage, and then suddenly (I was fading in and out) he compared marriage to circumcision. I had to repress a laugh. WTF.
