The Cases

After Ikeda Sensei's Aikido class, I drove to my sister Jill's house in Broomfield.

Lance and my nieces were up and busy. Adelaide is getting closer to walking, Alexis was much more comfortable with me and I loved hearing an excited and clever neice talk about all sorts of things. She is five and will start kindergarten in the fall. Definite congratulations to Lance for sitting the Colorado state record in bench for his weight class. He benched an amazing 335 pounds, beating his opponents by at least 75 pounds.

Saturday morning, Lance had to work at 4:00, and four hours later, I went out got coffee and donuts for Jill and kids. I then went to Denver Aikikai for a weapons class (the subject of the next blog post) and then after I got back, Lance and I went to Best Buy to look at the latest HDTVs and other fun electronic toys. We then drove the Yamaha dealership and I looked at bikes similar to Jarretts. This was all leading up the both of us going to see the latest Transformers movie in Westminister. I enjoyed the film and Megan Fox was a treat to see on the big screen. The movie was sold out and Lance and I waited in line for 40 minutes to get great seats. Getting back to the house, Jill had pizza ready for us. I listened to Adelaide and Alexis and loved every second.

We all spent a lazy Sunday morning before I took off for Aikido class in Boulder and I look forward to visiting with my great family in Broomfield soon.
